Environmental Policy
Information
In line with our vision, ESSIQ aims to create a more sustainable technology industry – for people
and the environment, by maintaining conscious environmental efforts to reduce our impact on the climate and contribute to a more sustainable society. Our operations should demonstrate good environmental consideration and meet the demands and expectations of our customers,
employees, and other stakeholders. Our environmental goals contribute to the continuous
development of the company and improvements in the company’s environmental performance.
Environmental Performance
For us, environmental consideration means:
- Raising awareness about the environment among employees and providing the opportunity to take environmental aspects into account in their work.
- Always striving to reduce our environmental impact in daily operations and prevent pollution.
- Engaging with suppliers who offer environmentally approved products.
- Being knowledgeable about and complying with applicable legal requirements.
- Preferring to work on projects that have positive environmental effects.
Environmental Goals
We apply our environmental responsibility and implement our environmental policy in practice by
setting the following environmental goals, where the environmental aspects based on our
operations are considered the greatest. Where measurability is not applicable for ESSIQ, we choose instead to formulate a goal direction towards what we are trying to achieve and solve:
Transport Goals: Aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by primarily choosing transportation methods that have the least possible environmental impact in connection with business travel.
- Consumption Goals: Recycle office and consumable materials as much as possible; sorting is done at the offices and delivered to recycling stations. Reduce the consumption of paper and other office materials, for example, by introducing systems for digital document management to reduce paper and printer material consumption. To the greatest extent possible, utilize new technology for distribution and communication (email instead of mail, video conferences). Use and manage energy and resources responsibly.
- Sustainable Engineering Assignments Goals: Categorize and increase awareness. Focus long-term on collaborating with customers that enable us to work on assignments resulting in positive environmental effects.
Quality Policy
A mutual choice
Our employees are our most important asset. We ask, listen, and interpret to gain unique insights based on people’s lives, hopes, and dreams. We believe in the power of a strong community and that the world becomes a better place when we develop it together. But without interesting clients and assignments, we do not succeed. We attract the best engineers by offering both exciting assignments and social environments, as we are convinced that both parts are needed to succeed.
The foundation for our successful operations are our 3 core processes “Co-workers – Competence”, “Customers – Sales” and “Development – Service”, and these we continuously monitor and fine-tune, to improve efficiency and adapt to our dynamic and everchanging society and world.
How do we achieve this?
- Ensuring that all completed client assignments increase the chances of new business opportunities.
- Always be, and be perceived, as reliable and trustworthy by employees and clients.
- Fully understand the needs and expectations of employees and clients, and have the ability to meet these better than our competitors.
- Ensuring that routines and policies are well-known within the organization and followed in all our operations and activities. Their value and effectiveness are evaluated and questioned for optimal benefit.
Quality Objectives
- Utilization rate >92% (excluding overhead employees).
- Fewer than 20% of the employees (consultants), end their employment (by own or company initiative) within 12 months from the starting date.
- No employee (consultant) should be unassigned for a period longer than 3 months.
- Strive for zero deviations reported by clients. If a deviation occurs, it should be managed within 3 months.
